How quickly has the year gone by.

Illness, job-loss, job-hunt, job-search,

Anger, fights, anger-management,

Meditation, writing, colouring,

Reading, reading, more reading,

Movies, shows, music, more shows,

Gardening, lots of plants, old and new,

Caring, nourishing, understanding patterns,

Plants dying, plants growing, flowers blooming,

Growing tomatoes and chillies,

Exploring Bengaluru, visits to Kochi, Sabarimala, Thrissur, Palakkad.

Mattanchery fascinated me a lot.

Cycling a lot, walking a lot,

The belly fat remains as stubborn as ever.

Medicines, medicines, more medicines,

One grows older, but not necessarily wiser,

Same mistakes, same believing in the greater good,

Same compromises for peace, same escapism,

Still grateful for everything, learning to practice “mouna”.

As the year ahead, promises to bring more,

Getting ready for perhaps the biggest adventure so far…
